Shoes are important to the overall playoff the golfer as well as to their comfort. Golf shoes come in a wide range of styles and designs that allow a golfer to find the type that is best for them. Golf shoes can run into quite a bit of expense, but they are designed to last for a very long time. The most important aspect of golf shoes is that they are comfortable to be worn for several hours at a time while walking and swinging. Clothing is not a real major concern when it comes to golf. Many male players also feel that the wearing of a jockstrap or other athletic support undergarments can make playing more comfortable due to the amount of stress and movement that is placed on the lower body during a game, especially while swinging the clubs.
